Agreement

By accessing Builder Army, creating an account, or claiming a builder number, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. You may sign in through Google or GitHub. Keep your provider account secure and give us accurate information. One person may claim one permanent builder number; numbers may not be sold, transferred, impersonated, or manipulated.

Your profile and content

You retain ownership of the name, X handle, role, location, and other content you submit. You give Builder Army a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, format, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, promote, and improve the service, including the public builder count, directory, and share cards.

Do not submit content you do not have the right to use. Your email address is account information and is not intended for public display.

Acceptable use

You may not use Builder Army to:

• break the law, infringe rights, harass others, or publish deceptive or harmful content;
• create fake or automated signups, scrape personal data, manipulate the count, or bypass security controls;
• upload malware, interfere with the service, or probe systems without written permission; or
• misrepresent affiliation with Builder Army or another person.

Builder numbers and availability

A builder number is a community identifier, not property, currency, certification, endorsement, or proof of professional status. We may correct duplicate, fraudulent, or technically misassigned numbers. The service may change, pause, or end, and we do not promise uninterrupted availability or preservation of any particular feature.

Third-party services

Builder Army uses services such as Supabase, Google, GitHub, and X. Their products and privacy practices are governed by their own terms. Opening an X composer or generating a share card does not make Builder Army responsible for what you choose to publish.

Our intellectual property

The Builder Army name, visual identity, website design, software, and original content belong to Builder Army or its licensors. Except for your own share card and content, these Terms do not grant you a right to copy, sell, or create confusingly similar services using our branding.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may restrict or remove accounts and content that violate these Terms, create risk, or threaten the integrity of the count. Where reasonable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

Disclaimers

Builder Army is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Builder Army and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunities arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months or EUR 100. Mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as the service develops. Material changes will be communicated through the website and the effective date above will be updated. These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where the Builder Army operator is established, subject to any mandatory protections in your country.
